Emily started her dog training career 12 years ago when she started as a puppy raiser for a service dog organization, Canine Companions for Independence. During the years she was raising service dogs, she saw that she had a special talent with working with dogs and wanted to help others who struggled with their dogs. In 2012 Emily purchased Dog Lovers from Pat Lacy, the original owner. Emily has owned Dog Lovers for five years, and is continuing her education by attending seminars and workshops each year. Emily specializes in behavior modifications, puppy training, and therapy dog preparation. Emily is a balanced method trainer, yes and no dog training.
