prerequisite grad from Intermidiate class by instructors recommendation and dogs must be dog and people friendly - no aggression in off leash classes

Expand your dog's basic skills by increasing control in distance, distractions and time. Begin to work without the Gentle Leader and work toward reliable off leash control. Also learn the skills needed for taking the Canine Good Citizenship test. Increase your handling skills and prepare your dog for Competion Class to earn AKC Obedience Titles. Have your dog evaluated and prepared for working in a therapy dog group visiting hospitals and nursing homes. Therapy dogs must be obedience trained, enjoy being petted by strangers and be dog and people friendly. Some therapy groups require that the dog and handler pass the CGC and the TDI tests.

Class Schedule:

Monday 10:30 am large dogs
Monday 6:30 pm small dogs
Monday 7:30 pm mixed sizes

No classes are held during the following holiday weeks: Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year. If one of these holidays occurs during your class, the course is extended one week.
